Maina is a Business Journalist, Media Manager, Part-time Lecturer, Speaker, and Trainer. He has worked in mainstream media for over a decade and a half in both Production and Management.

He is the Founder Director of Frontlite Media, an independent Media Agency offering production services, PR services, and digital/traditional media consultancy services based at the Nairobi Securities Exchange.

In the media landscape, Maina hosts the leading business show, The Trading Bell, which airs on KTN News Wednesday nights. The show features top business CEOs and chairpersons of listed companies at the Nairobi Securities Exchange, along with leaders from non-listed companies.

Maina also tutors and lectures on Business Communications at the Power Learn Project, and has taught at Riara University and the Certified Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

As the Founder and Senior Judge at the Debate Circle, a program spanning over 13 years, Maina enriches young leaders with critical thinking and communication skills.

He trains individuals and corporates on Media, PR, and Communication. His passion for public speaking has led him to deliver public lectures on Leadership, Business, and Communication at renowned institutions like Daystar University and St. Paul’s University.
